Children's Safety Programs
We support local organizations in the neighborhoods and communities that we serve through children's safety and wellness programming. Central Virginia has a large number of community organizations that promote healthy lifestyles, encourage prevention and early diagnosis and raise money for research.
We also lead and participate in community health fairs and screenings. In 2010, we helped organize screenings in Charlottesville and surrounding communities. We also provided free sports physicals for school-aged athletes at the Orange Health Fair and Charlottesville Boys and Girls' Club Health Fair.
Additionally, the UVA Children's Hospital promotes childhood safety and wellness in Charlottesville and surrounding counties.
